2016 Closer to Free

You were expecting to see Council 10 members below “feeling the burn” after a long bike ride, but all we see below is a feeling the joy!  Is that the endorphins?  Or is this the “before” picture?

Annual Blood Drive

Council 10’s Annual Blood Drive was held on Thursday, July 13, 2017 in the Parish Hall.  Thanks to the 14 Brothers who volunteered for registration and making and/or serving sandwiches.

The Red Cross goal was 55 pints and we achieved 50.  There were 58 donors.  Unfortunately, some were unable to donate.  It was the first time we ever had to ring the bell for a donor who had trouble after their donation.  Fortunately there was no serious problem and the Red Cross staff handled the matter very capably.

The annual Steak ‘n Cigar Night of Council 10 was held Wednesday August 23.  You didn’t have to smoke cigars or even like steak to come and have a good time.  Menu was rib eye steak, baked potato, salad, and cheese cake for dessert.

8.14.17 The Move to Email Newsletters

Tags :

Category : Council 10

Many members of our council already access the internet and/or email every week. As we discussed at our August 14, 2017 meetings, we can save a substantial sum of money by only printing and mailing a small quantity of council newsletters to any remaining members who do not yet have access to our news online via a website visited from a public computer or via an email address.

This website contains an archive of business meeting minutes and newsletters so that any member with access to the web may view our newsletters, even members without email today.
